Drawing on years of professional experience in university admissions, I will guide your student through the college admissions process. A senior admissions official in public, private, and Ivy League universities, I led admissions at an Ivy League university as well as posts in university marketing, student advising, and adjunct teaching.
I can help your student assess best fit and make that case to the institution. I know what metrics schools look for and how to best present them.
I can help with one or more of the following:
Application strategy and timeline management
I give you a behind-the-scenes perspective of the college admissions process. It is my firm belief that your student's understanding of the "hows" and "whys" of the process, will strengthen the application.
I offer customizable packages, a la carte or hourly rates that specifically tackle the work your students needs assistance with.
With locations in Northern Virginia and New York, I work locally and remotely with students from all over the world.
Writing Tutor Services
I also offer writing support for high school, college, and graduate students. Help understanding assigment, directional guidance for topic/thesis development, editing and guidance to final product.
I offer a highly individualized and personal approach because no student is the same. With different experiences, interests, questions, and goals, it is my job to get to know my students and customize a plan that will make sense for each.
What do students generally sign up for?
Many students sign on for help with the main 500 word college essay, an affordable and focused type of support.
Others choose a more comprehensive package of advising on topics like testing strategy, school selection, and course planning.
